Pam qualified from Manchester University in 1976 and initially worked with her father and brother in their practices in Rochdale, Manchester and Lees, Oldham.
She won the North West Final of BPW / Nat West Young Career Woman Award in 1987 and in 1995 was named by “Harpers & Queen” magazine as one of the twelve “A1” dentists in the country. She won the Professional Business Woman of the Year Award 2015 in the Forward Ladies Awards and was thrilled to win the Dentistry Award for Best Patient Care UK in 2014. She is a graduate of the prestigious Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business Programme.
Pam became involved in facial aesthetics, skin treatments and nutritional supplements following requests from her patients who could see the difference a great smile had to their self-confidence and wanted to look as good as possible. She has undertaken training to advanced level in wrinkle relaxant injections and dermal fillers and is registered to provide Theraderm™ chemical peels.
She is married with two stepsons. Her hobbies are visiting different places on holiday, going to the gym, driving, segwaying and always trying something new.
Vicki is a Registered General Nurse who qualified at Liverpool School of Nursing in 1992. She worked in many different specialities of nursing including, Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Cardiac Surgery and transplantation, General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Dermatology. She also worked in the commercial environment introducing medical devices into hospitals, supporting the hospitals and delivering training to the hospital personnel.
Vicki wanted to develop her passion of being an Aesthetic Nurse and opened Vicki Broughton Facial Aesthetics in 2014. She provides a professional personal service offering a selection of treatments including; Wrinkle Relaxing Injections, Dermal Fillers, Automated Micro needling (Collagen Induction Therapy), Medical Grade Skin care and prescriptive treatments for skin conditions, Diamond Microdermabrasion & Skin Peels.
Vicki is married with two children, Lily and Charlie and a dog called Flo. In her spare time Vicki likes to run and she is heavily involved with Saddleworth Ladies Fundraising Committee, recently taking part in a Bollywood evening at the Blue Tiffin.
Kim has been a member of the Waterside team since 2002. She is the second youngest of a family of seven – 3 brothers and 3 sisters! Her eldest school has started sixth form and her youngest will be starting primary school in 2016.
Kim’s partner, Clayton and the boys have a pet dog Lewis who is quite a handful!
Louise, also known as “Little Lou” has worked at the practice since 2010. After qualifying as a dental nurse she joined reception with Kim but continues to assist in the surgery when needed.
Lou lives with her partner Conor and their two dogs Daphnie, The Jack Russell Terrier, and Rupert the Miniature Schnauzer.
Conor works for his family business in Saddleworth offering beds, carpets and tiled flooring.
They are currently refurbishing their house, which they bought in August 2014. Lou loves to spend time researching her favourite artist Bob Barker, teaching their dogs new tricks and taking long weekend walks
Our senior dental nurse is Vicky McRobbie, who has been working in dentistry for about twenty years and qualified as a dental nurse in 1998.
She has been interested in learning the different techniques involved with facial aesthetic and skin treatments and enjoys assisting our practitioners whenever needed.
Vicky has lived in Heywood all her life and has three children, Ellie, Katie and Callum. her partner Paul works in the building industry as a bricklayer. When she gets time she enjoys reading and is a long-distance runner.
